Sub Attack! — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Sub Attack! (the “Game”) handles information when you use the Game on Android or iOS.

Sub Attack! is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. The Game includes optional advertising, achievements and leaderboards, and an optional Premium upgrade.

1. Information processed when you play

The Game may store gameplay progress, high scores, achievements-related progress, game settings and preferences, and Premium entitlement status locally on your device. This information supports gameplay and helps retain your preferences between sessions.

Depending on the platform and features used, integrated third-party services may process device identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, game account identifiers, leaderboard scores, achievements and purchase-related information.

2. Game services, achievements and leaderboards

Android — Google Play Games Services

If you use Google Play Games features, Google may process your player identifier, Play Games profile information, achievements, leaderboard scores and related game activity. The Game may access information made available by Google Play Games to display and update achievements and scores. See Google's Privacy Policy.

iOS — Apple Game Center

If you use Apple Game Center features, Apple may process information associated with your Game Center account, including player identifiers, achievements, leaderboard scores and related activity. The Game may access information necessary to authenticate players, submit achievements and scores, and display leaderboards. Game Center information is handled according to Apple's applicable policies and your Apple account settings. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

3. Advertising and rewarded advertisements

The free version of Sub Attack! may display advertisements, including optional rewarded advertisements that provide in-game benefits. The Game uses Google AdMob for advertising on supported platforms.

When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process information including:

Data practices may vary according to device settings, location, consent choices and enabled advertising services. On iOS, access to information used for tracking across other companies' apps and websites is subject to applicable Apple requirements, including App Tracking Transparency where required. Users may have additional privacy controls through device settings and applicable consent mechanisms. See Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Premium purchases

Sub Attack! offers an optional one-time Premium upgrade. Premium features may include removal of advertisements, an advertisement-free Second Chance rescue and access to an exclusive Premium visual theme.

Premium purchases are processed through Google Play Billing.

iOS

Premium purchases are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system.

Google or Apple processes payment and transaction information according to its own policies. The Game may receive purchase status, transaction identifiers or entitlement information necessary to unlock or restore Premium features. The Game does not directly collect or store your full payment-card details.

These providers may process information according to their respective privacy policies. The Game does not provide a feature for players to publish personal messages or other personal content to other players. Game Center or Google Play Games leaderboard information may be visible to others according to platform features and privacy settings.

7. Data storage and retention

Gameplay progress and preferences stored locally generally remain on your device until the Game's data is cleared or the Game is uninstalled, subject to device backup and restore functionality. Information held by Apple, Google or other integrated service providers is retained according to their respective policies. Deleting the Game or clearing local storage does not necessarily delete purchases, achievements or leaderboard records held by those providers.

8. Your privacy choices and requests

You may stop using and uninstall the Game at any time. Depending on your platform, you can manage relevant privacy choices through Android device and Google account settings, Google Play Games privacy settings, iOS privacy and tracking settings, Apple account and Game Center settings, and advertising consent controls where provided.

9. Children's privacy

Sub Attack! is an arcade game and is not designed to request personal contact information from players. The Game may integrate third-party advertising, gaming and purchase services that process information according to their own policies and applicable age-related requirements. The availability of advertising and platform services may depend on the player's age, location, platform settings and applicable legal requirements.

10. Security

We aim to limit information handled directly by the Game to what is necessary for its features. Third-party providers maintain their own security measures for information they process. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game's features, integrated services or data-handling practices change. The latest version will be available at https://perryr-dev.github.io/subattack-privacy/, with the date at the top updated when changes are made.
